WalkerSEP's involvement in one of New Zealand's think big energy project's New Zealand Steel at Glenbrook (South of Auckland) during the mid 1980's signaled the beginning of the company's role in providing a specialized surveying service to large-scale industrial, high rise, airport and civil construction projects.

WalkerSEP has grown its client base to include most of New Zealands's largest construction companies (Hawkins, Multiplex, Fletcher, Mainzeal, Scarbro, Kaipra, Dominion etc) organizations (Auckland International Airport Ltd), and design architecture / engineering consultants.

On most projects, WalkerSEP is engaged for the duration of the contract, from the initial pre-construction planning phase, through to the piling, foundation and main cyclical/structural construction, the finishing works, final certification and as built mapping stages.
